Pretendly’s thrilled to return to ArtsPartners’ Ignite Peoria, a FREE immersive creative event at the Peoria Civic Center! You may find our Pretendly Fam at our vendor booth in the Sensory Ignite section from 9am until 1pm.

The entire Ignite Peoria event is FREE and offers innovation, arts, and hands-on experiences for ALL ages. Come for the fun, the interactive play, and the community!

Sensory Ignite is taking on a new format this year as a Sensory Room. Designed for individuals with sensory sensitivities or anyone needing a break from the crowds, this space offers a variety of activities to meet your sensory needs. Sensory Ignite will have carnival games and a small bouncy house in one area of the room and unplugged acoustic music, blacklight painting, and other projects to spark your creativity in another area. Also provided next to Sensory Ignite is a Calm Room for low sensory input needs such as diminished lighting, a quiet space, and quiet hands-on activities to help calm a racing mind. Sensory Ignite is happy to provide an adaptive restroom that includes a changing table big enough for adults.
